BluSol began during a season when I was struggling with hormonal issues, acne, and painfully dry skin. I started paying closer attention to what I was putting in my body, but I quickly realized I also needed to care about what I was putting on my body. Your skin is your largest organ, and it deserves to be treated with respect.
As I began researching ingredients, I discovered that many conventional skincare products contain harsh additives and ingredients that may disrupt the body’s natural balance. That led me to look for something simpler, more nourishing, and closer to what our skin actually needs. Eventually, I came across tallow.
At first, I was skeptical. The idea of using tallow in skincare felt unfamiliar, but the more I learned, the more curious I became. I bought some high-quality grass-fed tallow and started experimenting with recipes in my own kitchen. I never planned on selling it. I was simply trying to create something better for my own skin.
But once I experienced how deeply moisturizing and nourishing tallow could be, I knew I wanted to keep learning, creating, and improving. What started as a personal solution slowly turned into new product ideas, countless recipe tests, and eventually, BluSol Cosmetics.
My mission is simple: to create skincare that is effective, natural, and made with ingredients you can feel good about. BluSol was built from my own journey toward cleaner, more intentional skincare, and I hope these products help you feel confident in treating your skin with the care it deserves.
